I caved in and watched Disney's Snow White. I had to see what all of the fuss was about. Everyone all up in arms about ... a Disney movie. Either it's epic or society has hit a new level of boredom. Verdict: society has just hit a new level of boredom.

Anyways (informal American English), in watching Disney’s live-action Snow White and just purely wondering to myself — whatever happened to people breaking into song and dance in the middle of town, like it’s Avalon? Or Brighton — close enough. Times have definitely changed. Imagine stepping onto Sepulveda and suddenly all the Van Nuys villagers burst into a musical number. Different world.
